I’ve been meaning to wear these harem pants since last week, and I finally got the chance today. They are so comfortable, I don’t want to take them off!
This outfit is kind of cliche; harem pants and genies? Duh. Still, I love everything about it from the sequins on the shrug to the pleats in the harem pants. Sometimes, cliche is good.

These heels are so hot.
I sort of like using necklaces as belts, as you might have noticed.
Basically, I took most of my gold jewelry and threw it on; the accessories make the outfit. And yes, the bow ring was inspired by Betty =).
Also, you guys definitely have to try these. They are SO good! They aren’t very sour but I prefer them that way.

It’s sooo painfully hot outside =(. I’m a really big baby when it comes to the weather. I can’t stand the rain at all, or the sun when it decides to shine too much. Why can’t it always be in the mid 60’s with some sun and clouds and a nice breeze?

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July =). These pictures are from yesterday; some of my family came over and we had a barbeque.
I had originally wanted to wear my new harem pants but decided this was more appropriate for Independence Day.

I think I had about four dogs in a row yesterday which, for me, is pretty amazing.
Instead of making a dessert, my mom bought these pastries from a local bakery. They are so good!
I had wanted to wear my GoJane heels with this outfit, but my cousin Armaan made it really difficult. He snuck into this shot and soon I had to take off my shoes and chase after him. No earrings or necklaces, either, because he likes to yank on them; he already broke one of my favorite necklaces =(.
I had to move my photoshoot outside and change into flats.

This was the view from where we were sitting; we were right by the water, but surprisingly I don’t have any mosquito bites (that I’ve noticed).
I learned that fireworks are probably the most difficult thing in the world to photograph. Still, I tried, but these photos don’t do any justice.
I bought Desire & Design denim capri pants today since I totally don’t already wear enough denim. I’m wearing them with silver Fioni pumps in the pictures.

I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but I’m a huge fan of Bollywood film music. I like watching the music videos on YouTube; I was watching Love Mera Hit Hit from Shahrukh’s movie, Billu Barber, and decided to emulate one of his outfits from the music video.

I was just missing a thick black belt; I ordered one online from Forever21 but it has yet to arrive.
I took these pictures by myself sometime last week so that’s why there are only two.
I was working at Justice today; instead of ringing, I was on the sales floor so I actually got to work with the clothing. I feel kind of silly admitting this but the sparkle-loving adolescent in me actually liked some of the clothes. The adult part of me is currently rolling her eyes at the adolescent.
But, I digress. The point is…I made a Justice collage. I felt really ridiculous making the collage, and I feel really ridiculous writing this right now but a little ridiculousness is healthy, no?
I can definitely laugh at myself if nothing else =).
